 Great idea!!.. Although I think the significate others not in our party would be males.. Idk how well that would turn out tying bows.... lol.. hmm... Maybe aunts and cousins (girls) terrific idea. :o) We could ask them before the wedding and them get them small appreciation gifts. :o)

 

We originally thought we would have about 30 guests.. But we have had 2 aunts say they are coming and we haven't even sent the invites yet.. So I'm wondering if we will have more than expected... How many guests are you expecting?

Okay Ladies..... I caved... We are now booked for the See & Sea, one of the WC's at ME sent me an updated list of pictures and the view of the See & Sea is just amazing!!!.. :o)

 

Here's the link if anyone else would like it.  Ceremony spots, flowers, cakes, etc.. It has more pictures than the previous link I was given, or maybe I just haven't visited the link in a while.

 I'm obsessed with the ME Bride page on facebook.. One of the ladies did a site visit and took pictures of the setup and I thought it would be gorgeous even with no additional decor. And the sound of the ocean and the breeze.. I can't help but think that location will even produce gorgeous pictures. :o)

 

Now that I'm not stressing over travel arrangements, designing invites and save the dates and assemble.. The fun can now begin!! :o) I have 15 DIY's on the top of my head now.. What have I gotten myself into!? lol..

 

What are you ladies currently working on? :o)

I am not sure if you received an answer to your make-up question but I am using Krystie Ann for hair and makeup.  She does hair, make up and false eyelashes cheesy.gif.  She has a couple of websites:

She will be in Punta Cana beginning November 2012 and offers some pretty good prices.  

 

Like Tink, I have heard both good and bad about the hair and makeup at the resort.  I also heard that it takes a lot of time to get all of your bridesmaids done, so it may be better to stagger the times so that you don't spend all day there.  This was a concern for me.  So...the thing that I liked most is that Krystie Ann will come to you.  You and the girls can get ready in one room- she can be doing hair and makeup on someone in your room while you are doing something else to get ready!  She also only uses good quality makeup (MAC, Urban Decay, etc.)- I have a bridesmaid with very sensitive skin, which was also a concern.  

 

She has a "Winter Special" that is good but only to be used for weddings between Jan 2013 and March 2013 (I see you are getting married in May).  I am getting married at the Majestic Elegance in February 2013, so I totally jumped on the deal!  Maybe another special will come out after her "Winter Special"?!?  She asks that you pay the price of the service and for her taxi (she says is about $40) to get to the resort.  Majestic Elegance has said that I would have to buy the $90 day pass for her as well.  This isn't too bad considering the cost of having it done at the resort, the fact that I have 3 girls getting makeup done and in the fact that it is in the comfort of your bridal suite!

 

I included the pricing that she had sent me a few months back.  This may have changed by now.  Sorry if this is repetitive information for you :o)  Let me know if you have any questions!!

Hay Brit!

 

I just saw that you decided to go with the Sea and See!  That's awesome!  That's what we're gonna do too!  I thought we might get 50-70 guests, but we are already up to 57 and haven't even sent the formal invitations yet!  I am re-estimating between 75-85 people!  SO, now I need to be extra thoughtful on the OOT bags and guest gifts.  Every dollar item costs me up to $100!  Plus, its making extra costs for the dinner and for the private reception!  YIKES!  My FI is freaking out cause we're trying to save for a house!  LOL!

 

I just went to TX to visit my MOH.  I wish she lived closer so that she could be more involved, but we were lucky to make a lot of progress this weekend.  We got the date for the Bachelorette/Shower weekend planned for February 21-24 in Atlantic City!  YA HOOOOO!!!!  :-D

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
