My fiance and I are getting married in Manuel Antonio in January. We rented three villas in Manuel Antonio Estates which arr right next to each other and will sleep 43! But now, we are trying to decide on whether to get a videographer or not.. the quote we currently have is $1495 for him to be there for 6 hrs. SO Costa Rica brides, what did you do or what are you doing? If you didn't have one, do you regret it? If you did, are you glad and how often do you actually look at your video? Lastly, since we are paying for the wedding on our own, if you did have someone record your special day, can you recommend a less expensive option for us? THANKS ladies :)

Hi AllieRay:  We are a Wedding Videography company located in Spokane, WA.  We are looking into the possibility of expanding our business into doing Destination Weddings in Costa Rica.  If you are interested, we would be willing to do your entire wedding day for free in exchange for the cost of travel and lodging to Manuel Antonio.  We have been there before and are familiar with the area.  I (Tony) am bilingual.  If we were to do the video, it would require two of us.  Airfare is about $700 ea. round trip to CR.   Local transportation and lodging would be additional.

We have our video beginnings in 1982 in Southern California and have done over 800 hundred  weddings.  Our website is www.alphavideoservices.net where you can see a lot of our highlight samples and full length videos.  Posted below is a trailer we just completed
