Haha I have to warn my FI right before I jump into wedding talk..."Let's talk wedding, promise no more than 5 min...but what do you think about...?" LOL His eyes glaze over after about 2 min and it's back to "whatever you want baby, you're the bride"

Yes! I've heard that one too! He said he would have been happy with a wedding a city hall. So with this DW, he said that as long as the two of us are there, the rest doesn't matter. BUT, that is bound to change without notice when I talk about an idea and the price of it! lol

YES! This is how some of our convos went.... popcorn.gif

Me: Talking about topic. (pause) Ask question. (Look at FH, if present)

FH: "What? I'm listening."

Me: "I just asked you a question."

(Next two lines may or may not occur)

[FH: States topic from 5 mins ago.

Me: "No, I was talking about that 5 mins ago.]

FH: "Oh, I wasn't listening!"

Me: *sigh* Remind back to topic in order to ask question.

OR

Me: Talking about topic (pause) Ask question. (Look at FH, if present)

FH: "What? I'm listening."

Me: "I just asked you a question."

FH: "Yes."

Me: (Pause) "That's not even an answer for what I asked."

FH: "Oh. (pause) What did you ask then?"

Me: Repeats question

I have more of these scenarios...but, I'm not trying to entertain you ladies too much! LOL You other ladies need to share now!!! popcorn.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
