I have sent all of mine to our DJ, they asked for it right away. The only song we had a hard time with was the one that we come out to during the reception.

This is the one thing that I am leaving to my FI - I told him already that the only thing he HAS to do for this whole wedding thing is pick out our first dance song..... He's even got more time to do it because we aren't doing the dance until our AHR... he better not mess this up HAHAH

The only song I have picked is my dance with my Dad.

Have you picked yours out?

I I love eBay!!! I purchased all my wedding supplies from eBay and I've spent less than $200....I even found my wedding dress on eBay for $226, new never worn and tags attached (orig price $1,600), the same exact dress I tried on in a top bridal shop..... there is a seller on eBay who's a nonprofit and top bridal salons donate discontinued dresses to them and the process go to help women with breast cancer. So I get a new designer dress for cheap while helping an awesome cause!!!
Omg! I'd lovd to look through that bridal shop. Although I have mine.still like looking. I lovd ebay, amazon and etsy. I purchase so much from them too..

I have not. Since I'm not doing full sit down meal but just a cocktail hot and cold horse divers (lol) type reception. Not sure what I'm going to do. But I do know song I will come in on as well as my girls.

My mom seemed disappointed I won't be doing a veil but my WC said the beach can be very windy and I've seen too many episodes of 4 weddings where it's windy and the veil is blowing everywhere and getting in the face, destroying the hair style or even pulling it out. I had always envisioned my hair with a veil and a certain style but I had to change it.  I decided on something like this, I still think it will be beautiful.

See, i wanted like a side low bun, my mom was like no! LOL I have seen plenty of brides from my resort with veils, granted it's not so windy in Punta Cana, unless it's rain season? I don't know lol but my mom insists on a few things so I cave in. Although...I alwayssss wanted a mantilla veil lol

That is pretty..... will you do a flower like that too?

I am undecided on a veil - I don't want the things to happen to described but I have also seen some really amazing photos where the veil is blowing just right and I want that! haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
