I did that a few times. Said you know... This was your idea. Listen to meeeeee. Then I feel like crap cuz he looks a little hurt that I'm not all psyched to declare my undying devotion in front of the world. Lol. I'm such a B sometimes .lol. We are trying to squeeze in a trip to see some of the resorts next month. Plus we have a loooooong time planned trip to New Zealand and Australia in October. Been planning and saving for a year . It's MY DREAM trip! Also why I haven't thrown in the wedding towel. He's sucking it up for me and spending a mini fortune to go. :0/

Oh wow that is amazing! I wanna go to both of those places too!! When you feel like you think he feels " a little hurt that I'm not all psyched to declare my undying devotion in front of the world" just tell him that you need his opinion because You want everything to be just right for Both of you at Your wedding.... Sounds like you two just have a lot on your plate right now... house hunting, amazing vacation, wedding planning on top of daily life. Just take some deep breaths - it will all work out. Maybe make a list of things that need to be done... or a few list for each major thing going on. Then set time lines for things to be done. Don't worry about getting everything done all at the same time. For example... for the wedding list - there are obvious things like -- Make STDs - Make Invites - Send STDs - Send Invites - Pick Flowers - Pick Linens - Buy Dress - Buy Accessories .. . . and so on... then get a wedding calendar... first right down all the obvious due dates.. like when to STDs .. then look at each month and figure out how much stuff is going on in the month. if you have 6 things that need to be done in August push back picking linens to September where there is only one thing that NEEDS to be done...... Does that all make sense? I know what I mean in my head HAHA

Oh also... I think different calendars would be a good idea so you can keep things in check for each event.. but maybe do a digital one... like Google calendars... you can have different calendars and color code them.. but if you want to look at them all at once you can - whiling keeping the colors codes visible. That way you wont double book and can really make sure you don't have too much going on in one month. AND you can share it with your FI so he will know what is going on - and maybe by seeing everything (with due dates) he understand why you need his help! Sorry I don't mean to sound preachy or pushy... I am just sincerely trying to help :hug2:

Totally off topic -- have you ever stayed at a Sandals/Beaches before?

Have/Are you staying in a butler and/or concierge room

I've stayed in beaches boscobel before for a wedding and it was great. not stayng in concierge/butler room. the resort we've chosen i really love since all rooms are oceanview and all have private balconies. that was enough for us. we did upgrade to honeymoon lux.  once 5 rooms are booked they will upgrade us to next level which is beachwalkout room which is more than adequete for us.what about you.? while we wanted to have nice weddng, etch  we didn'twant to break the bank and go overboard for things we really didn't need.

uhhhhhh yeah, i have same issue with mine. I get so frustrated sometime i just wanna punch him in the throat. what i get is why are you doing everything so early. yeah yeah those are nice. do we really need those kellie? look i know we want these people to be there, and those people to attend, but the reality is.. the .only two people that need to be there are you and i(that part i know is true) but still... lol. he says i'm trying to appease too many people and moving it away from what it's really meant to be which is the two of us solidifying our love of each other in matrimony.

That's great. I have never stayed at a Sandals before so I was just curious if the concierge/butler were worth it. When I look at the butler description I think - oh, we are not those people. HAHAH I really don't know if I see the need for a concierge room either - however the price difference between that and a none concierge room is very minimal and I know they can help me out with a few things that I am doing for my guest ... so I think I will end up going with that. Thanks for the info :)
