My mom seemed disappointed I won't be doing a veil but my WC said the beach can be very windy and I've seen too many episodes of 4 weddings where it's windy and the veil is blowing everywhere and getting in the face, destroying the hair style or even pulling it out. I had always envisioned my hair with a veil and a certain style but I had to change it.  I decided on something like this, I still think it will be beautiful. LL
This is beautiful. Actually pretty darn close to what I've been looking for

See, i wanted like a side low bun, my mom was like no! LOL I have seen plenty of brides from my resort with veils, granted it's not so windy in Punta Cana, unless it's rain season? I don't know lol but my mom insists on a few things so I cave in. Although...I alwayssss wanted a mantilla veil lol
I want side low bun off to side or high center to give lift for headband eith flowing curls.

I think the shell idea will be cute on the beach arch

I made one with seashells and I bought the seashells from eBay for $5 and I received about 100 shells. The remaining shells I'm using as fillers in my centerpieces!

Great idea!

I love eBay!!! I purchased all my wedding supplies from eBay and I've spent less than $200....I even found my wedding dress on eBay for $226, new never worn and tags attached (orig price $1,600), the same exact dress I tried on in a top bridal shop..... there is a seller on eBay who's a nonprofit and top bridal salons donate discontinued dresses to them and the process go to help women with breast cancer. So I get a new designer dress for cheap while helping an awesome cause!!!

WAIT A MINUTE.................... who is the seller por favor ( please) lolwink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
