I had to take a break from the wedding planning. My invitations are out, people are paying deposits, I am still waiting for some rsvps, etc. Now its a waiting game. I need to order thank you cards, tumblers, business cards, pashimas, peacock feathers ( my theme is peacock- purple, blue, and green), decide on the menu, and other small things that add up. I might just wait to see what the holiday sales are and order everything in November and December. Now it is time to save, save, and save some more.
I'm with you on that plan Shari. I have been consumed with all this planning, but at least now I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm sending out my save the dates next week and my invites at about to be designed soon do they should be out the door by September. Is times to start looking up the information for my tables settings, decorations, and most importantly the dress!

Thanks ladies! I had no intentions on getting pashminas. Now I think I am. These are helpful sites
thanks for the links to the sites. I will definitely check them out. I need at least 26 pashminas. Maybe even 30. I'll order samples from a couple of the sites before I order all of them so I can check out the quality.

I have a quick question for all you ladies. What, if any, info did you send with your save the dates? Any travel info or did you just give your wedding website? We really didn't want to do a wedding website, Would it be too awful to give the travel agent info on the back of the save the dates? Or put a page in the envelope with the save the dates? I really need some input here. Thanks!

Although we are planning on having a website ( if thenFI ever get around to it) I figured is drop a small paper in the STD envelope that said something like " for the early bird planners or eager beavers , please contact ( travel agent)

Yes it is and she would love that. She's still trying to convince us to have the wedding there and cancel DW.. never thought about the park. Will look into that thanks.

I did not do a wedding website. my std just have our names, date, loccation, and tells them formal invitattions to follow(which have  information such as travel, travel agent contact information , hotel, resort and link for passport requirement information. I did however send out mass email with detailed information to all who had expressed genuine desire to go, and sent to my wedding party.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
