What are you working/thinking about currently??

I'm working on: OOT Bags (just starting to gather items... got the bags last week), Shoes, Grooms Attire....

Most importantly, I keep going back and forth on videography. I am so cheap but I know deep down I should do it since so much of my family isn't coming. (We only invited immediate family.) I just have so much trouble thinking about spending a thousand dollars on video! I could get the cheap sort of cheesy resort videographer for $450, ceremony only. Or, a nice short form 25-50 minute video, four hours of coverage for $900 after external vendor fees... or six hours of coverage, short form video, and highlights video for around $1,300 after vendor fee.... that amount of money makes me want to faint! I almost just want to give someone a flip camera but I know that probably isn't a good solution.

How about you??

i promise you have no idea how cheap, frugal, thrifty i am. ( my fiancee is not a big picture person at all) so alll that would be a waste for me, now if i do any it wll be smallest package for pictures which is like  355.00 for  18 pictures, we did decided(not for pricewise) but more actually for sentimental reasoons, too do the custom disposable cameras, this will allow our guest to take pictures as they see us and then i may just add the videography

Ohhhh your talking to the right chick about OOT bags..  what kind of bags did you get.. what are you putting them???   I am O B S E S S E D  with my bags :) hahaha     as for the video.....  I haven't even thought about doing it... while I do think it might be nice to have one - I would never watch it so I can't see spending a lot of money on something that will never get used.....     Will you ever watch it?  Will having it to watch make you feel happy?  Will you see it lying around and only think.. that was an expensive paper weight?

Invitations.... well that's still up in the air. I had high hopes of having them out by the end of next month.

What time frame are you all using for RSVP dates?

I'm with you! My wedding is in May and I can't decide what to do with invitations. I want passport but also want something more formal. FI suggested using the passports as a before we leave booklet for people who book and are coming to the wedding to save money lol. What are you thinking about with your invites?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
