Did you find somewhere for the silk flower? I'm using them for my centerpieces as well but don't know where to look

I'm not DIY either - I need an entourage lol

I haven't found any silk flowers in particular. I stumbled across them when I was browsing the forums and I found this post http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/77883/my-real-touch-flowers Her flowers are OUT OF THIS WORLD beautiful. They damn near cost almost the same amount as some real flowers/resort prices lol. But I was impressed. So that's where I got the idea of possibly having silk flowers versus real flowers. They photograph so nicely. I think i might be able to pull it off. MrsD you live close by... we could do it in a weekend!!! lol

So my task now is to find these flowers, buy them in bulk possibly and try to do pomanders.

OMG! So beautiful! Love the colors!!! My colors are Coral and Turquoise and this would be perfect!

So many things to do and consider!

I am up for meeting up sometime, I'm training for the marathon so my weekends are occupied with long training runs but I'm sure we can figure something out or wait until after Nov 3rd lol

Those pomander balls are costing me $85 at the resort. To make them isn't much cheaper. It's the stupid balls that cost the most plus you need a decent size and lugging them in a carry on isn't going to work depending on how many you want. Its about 22 flowers per ball if you use daisies and more for roses. There's a ton of DIY sites on how to make them

I didn't look to see how much the resort is charging. I just thought it would be unique. Plus I'm trying to cut some corners... clearly I have a little more work to do.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
