Its ok. I'm sooo fighting the urge shop today. I found out lastnight my mother will not be able to atten my wedding. Her dialysis is now going to be 3x week and vertigo is preventing her from flying. Maybe it will improve in the months to come

I KNOW what I forgot....the FI stuff...

So for the last 6 weeks I basically haven't even seen my FI b/c when we had a talk about how much money we still need for the wedding he's gone APE with saving.....it's ridiculious. I'm happy b/c we managed to just save $1,500 in two weeks because of it but it's summer time and I'd like to spend some times with him. He's worked so much overtime that I think I've spent one day with him in the last month and a half. I can't work overtime at work, it's only allowed if it's preapproved and for a special reason. Like in Nov I'll get some OT b/c of the budget books I have to do for the org.....which i HATE doing btw. But he seriously could pick up OT every day. His deductions from his check yesterday was more than I made in two weeks....that's sick.....anyways....that's all he has had input on for the wedding, other than the cost he could careless what goes on, except the crap with his father. We had another fight about that before I went out lastnight, think that was the reason I drank so much wine. I tried telling him if his father wants help that's great but he needs to tell him that we do not feel that it is healthy for an alcoholic to be in an AI resort.....he will not listen though and it's really starting to piss me off. He keeps swearing the man will screw up before and he'll have to uninvite him but my whole thing is what if he doesn't.......ugh......back to "working"

I am working with an agent whom gave me a few to resorts to pick from with the Beaches and Sandals being on the list.  I think the decision will be the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. I will keep you postedcheesy.gif  I'm bout to take it in and rest my brain until tomorrow, or later on I shall say at this time.  Hi, I'm getting married at Iberostar Grand but having my guests stay at Iberostar Suites. I visited both and they are beautiful. They are joined to each other by a corridor. The Grand is a adult only all inclusive resort but the suite is family friendly. I would encourage you to seriously consider Iberostar Suites...you can't go wrong!

I'm sorry to hear that....that sucks! :( I've heard sometimes they can do dialysis off the reasort. My mother has paranoid schiz. and I'm afraid that her flying out of the country might "send her over the edge" :( so it's kind of hard. I'm hoping my grandmother comes so my mother can stay with her, b/c if she doesn't come idk what I'm going to do with my mother. Sometimes I wish only friends came to the wedding LOL

My Passport invitations were a absolute hit!! My future in laws keeps ordering extra just to give out as keep sakes. With all the info that I provided in the book, I still get asked questions!! Ugh, I wish people would just read everything in there first!!
Same with me I also sent out very detailed email and still get asked

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
