I *thought* I read something many pages back about the possibility of getting a free plane ticket for so many tickets booked.  Did I imagine that?  If not, what airline was it and how many tickets (or $$) need to be booked before the free ticket kicks in?

Usually 10 ppl have to book but they get ya b/c you all have to leave/come back the same date and flight and out of the same airport. American Airlines gives a 5% dicount if you have 10ppl and they don't have to be out the same date etc. If you go on their website there's a form you fill out and they email you a discount code and will mail you free things to go in your invites. Also, i read AA has first bag checked free ;)

welcome, i too am a Jamaican bride so welcome MON... i can tell you that my resort is extremely nice and one of the least expensive. now it won't work for you if you have children attending. as I am with sandals and it is adults only. From my understanding the Riu is very very nice as well and children can attend. here is link to where i wil be getting married. www.sandals.com/whitehouse we're all here to help and in this together.

Welcome Futurebride! The good news for you is that Jamaica is known for having affordable AI resorts! For personal reasons, Jamaica was not an option for us, but Montego Bay has a wealth of options! My FFIL loves staying at the Riu and there is at least one other 2014 bride who posts here that is a travel agent and Jamaica bride (I believe the Moon Dance Villas?).

I loooove this idea! It is so cute and sweet. My date is May 3, 2014!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
