As a bride I understand your frustration and irritation.  I'd freak out a bit too but as a manager who has to balance the schedule of 280 people in an environment where I swear we breed fertility I'd suggest mentioning it casually. I always have at least 4 people on maternity leave.

She's 5 months along I think you said so she may not be telling her clients because she could still be working with her boss for coverage and doesn't want to give you an incomplete answer.

Granted I work at a hospital so it's literally life and death which may be a little different but we never leave an area uncovered. My guess is they will have someone devoted to you 100% and they will do everything they can to make the transition from one WC to another seamless to you but just may still be working out the details. It's hard to shift coverage around and when you do it right it takes time and thought.  Your business is important to them, I guarantee it and I'm sure they'll do right.

Yea I know at some point, if she can't handle it, they'll switch me to someone else. I just don't want to get there 2 days before the wedding and be surprised when they pawn me off on someone else. But I'm glad I know what's going on so I won't be too surprised.

Yes, that would be very wrong. Hopefully they have enough sense and customer service skill to not do that.  Hopefully they'll give you enough time so that you can communicate with both of you WC's for a bit so everyone is in the loop

the WC you are working now is not going to be your onsite coordinator, it will switch right over when you are about to go to the resort, I really don't think the one you have one does anything other than filtering the info to the real coordinator you are going to have, any one can do that.

There is already a thread for this... I just thought it would be nice to keep it going just between us friends in this thread.  If everyone one else wants to I'm fine with that . . .  I do think it would be easier if only one person update the list (not that we have too many more to join it at this point)  I'd be happy to do that as I already of a hard copy saved on my desktop!

Thank you!

And I saw the other thread but was thinking a new one with a different name :-), but if you are ok with the method you are using, its all cool!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
