OMG Ladies!  Sooo... last night my FI's parents met my Dad and Step Mom for the first time (we have been togeather over 6 years now)  it actually went really well......  of course the wedding came up a couple of times during dinner....       at one point my FI says - oh I guess I need to ask my brother to be my best man.. why didn't I do that already.. I need to do that!

I was like umm hello we talked about this and decided that we weren't having a wedding party.... he looked at my like I had ten heads and said " I don't know what that is but of course my brother is my best man"  HAHAHa

Sooo ....  no biggy - I will ask my best friend (who is already coming to the wedding) to be my MOH .... When I told her we were getting married I told her that I we probably weren't doing a wedding party but if we were she would be my MOH.

So my "OMG" moment about this is - of course I can't just call them be like - oh btw we changed our minds will you be my BM/MOH - I need to do something special.

My thought for his brother is to figure out what his favorite drink is and get a bottle of that with a custom flask - or something like that!

Not sure about my friend yet.

Did you girls do anything fun when you asked your friends/family to be in your wedding?

Basically, we need to find a starfish to use - Who ever is getting married first will have it in her wedding some how (part of the decorations, in her bouquet, on her veil, really however you want) Once she is back from her wedding she will send it off to the next bride - to - be and so on. . . It could be your something borrowed - or if you already have something I think it would be a cute way for us all to be part of each other's weddings!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
