We have our venue picked out, the room block is held for our guest but that's about it. I still have to put a down payment for the photographer, look for a dress, think about decorations.... welcome gifts.... ahh soo much work ahead

wow, you got the invites already made? I am just finishing up my StD! We have our venue but no room block yet ... waiting to hear back from them. I;ve been dress shopping twice so far and two more stores this weekend ... and I've phone-interviewed a bunch of photographers so now we have to pick one!! Def have to start thinking about decorations, flowers etc ...

The lady at the PO said "wow these are really nicely packaged"

I mentioned they were my STD and we had a fun little convo about what I made.

I told her my FI hates the address labels I made because the PO would hate them... she said they were cute!  Then put ugly stickers on the boxes... Glad I took a pic before I left!!

Pics up next - one moment please : ) hahah

awesome job making them and getting them out there!

I hate my last name. Not that my fiance's is any better really but I'll take it in a heart beat. Can't wait to make it officially my last name lol

The note that I included - it's double sided so each box got one card.

In the box they went. . .

Wrapped the boxes in bubble wrap

Then wrapped them in brown paper - last minute decided to stamp them with " <3 handle with care <3"  it looked better on the piece of paper I did it on first... the bubble wrap made it challangeing - but I went with it anyways.  I then used packing tape to tape every surface so that the paper wouldn't get torn in shipping.

Finally, I taped on the address labels : )

(btw -  the addresses on the labels I made up so I could post a picture on the internet - the info from my TA is correct if anyone has a need for one )

You are killing me....I feel like we are soooo not crafty after looking at these! (Actually I'm NOT crafty! LOL) These are amazing and your guests will love them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
