I feel same way. I only have two bm. My si ster ( who lives in another state) and my bff here in Atlanta. Although they were prepared to pay for their dresses, sincd they are payibg for trip. I decided to pay for their dresses, abd and accessories

I am just glad that people are making it out to Jamaica for me.

The only thing we've done is booked the venue, guest list made and wedding website made.  Hoping to get the STDs out within a week and book our photographer and hair/makeup within the next week.  I've been dress shopping twice and have two appointments next week but still no luck!

All that being said, the family drama sure has started!!!

I feel like I am behind too! I haven't started looking for a dress yet. I got the invitations made and I am hoping to mail them out sometime within the next 2 or 3 weeks. We have our venue picked out, the room block is held for our guest but that's about it. I still have to put a down payment for the photographer, look for a dress, think about decorations.... welcome gifts.... ahh soo much work ahead

Hellll to the nawwwww!!!!! Lol. What you need to do is explain to fiancee friend that you appreciate his willingness to be there to be supportive but this is not a spring break vacation event. This is your day. Your time. Your wedding week.and if he's a true friend he'll understand.and hubby to be should understand as well. Lol

His friend was so serious about it too. He said oh well we are flying out there so we might as well stay a week to make it worth it. but if I knew a few of my boys were coming out there so we can chill and stuff then it would be worth it. --- ugh i really hope our wedding does not turn into spring break!

Very nice!!!! Are you doing everything spanish and English? Half my guests speak English and half Spanish I'm debating if I should do half and half but that might be too much work!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
