Phew, finally caught up. I went to bed early last night because I had a 5 mile run that started at 8am and then spent the day with one of my BM catching up and came back to almost 100 new posts...so much happens when I'm gone.  I kept trying to catch up quickly on my phone when she was in the BR or something, it's official I have an addiction!
Lol..join the club I try to keep checking periodically on my phone so I'm not to far behind but doesn't always work out that way.. busy day for you 8am 5mile run. Was it for a cause?

Okay - I'll work on that.. I can get one tomorrow (too lazy right now hahah)!     To be fair I did ask Tyre if she was interested - so I'd like to offer them to her first (I'm sure you understand)  but if she doesn't want them and you do great!  And if neither of you do and anyone is interested just let me know! Thanks!
Aww thanks so much rayne but if she definitely needs them they should go to her. I am not sure of my numbers as of yet and I would love to have all guests bag to match. I wouldn't want to hold up a definite sale that would be selfish.

LL Okay so to practice how to get a picture from my phone to here I thought I'd share what I am working on. . . .  the original sewing kits I was going to get didn't have safety pins (which I thought was odd) so I got a bag of them to add.  I ended up getting these kits, which have one safety pin so I figured why not add some extras.  I just came up with an idea on how.  I think they are really cute!!  Kind of hard to see what I did - I'll post another picture at some point : )
Great job Rayne! ! Cute idea adding the pins to the ribbon

LL Well look at that!! When I was just playing around with getting my last picture on here I noticed I already had a picture of the bags ( I totally forgot I'd taken this) It's not the best picture - but Figured I'd post anyways.
Really nice bags they look large and spacious but you need that because you have a truckload of welcome items to add..hahaha and your still shopping

I already have some questions lol.  Are you utilizing a travel agent?  I am unsure IF I would even need one.  What are the pros and cons?  Can my guests not receive a group discount directly from the resort anyways?

I am not getting married in the Dominican but we are using a travel agent for Riveria Maya and ours is literally amazing! I worked really hard with her for 4 weeks before I released all the info she is taking payments anyway people want to they never have to even meet her if they don't want to she is super responsive with emails she works with the wedding coordinator and myself to keep it all straight.  I have to say I lucked out I found a travel agency where all this lady does is book destination weddings so she knows her stuff she's been to 40-50 resorts just to view them for brides and will even arrange a meeting of a bride she had get married at your resort so you can talk to them see their pictures etc.  I would take advantage of one if you know they know their stuff.  I think it helps especially with channeling questions you aren't going to know everything and you will then have to find the answer where as if you set up an email group they email her and we all get the answer and it is probably a lot faster response time then how long it would take you to  find the answer! I heard it both ways but I am truly loving having one :) Happy planning!

Totally worth it just to have questions go to someone who knows the answers! Less headaches for you!

Haha - yeah I have have two sets of bags.... the other ones are a bit bigger... I am keeping those.. My FI said he liked the other ones better so he didn't know why I bought more.  I was undecided about which to keep... but since he had an opinion I guess I will go with it haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
