She answers everything i ask her about. if I call her, she calls me back promptly and when i email her, same in her responding to me. i thought i was going to be pulling my hair out, but i'm actually smooth moving.(I say that now). Still haven't decided yet whether i'm doing the oot bags  yet. thinking maybe just for my  wedding party.

the sandals whitehouse looks amazing!!! That location was my first choice if I went with sandals but i have a lot of single friends coming so that ruled out sandals.

that's great to hear the communication is going well and the wc is on top of thigns

Are all of you using a TA for your guests? Can they get better rates than if they booked themselves? We are planning a small wedding (inviting only 22 people and not sure if all are making it) so not sure if we can get group rates for so few rooms?

They are outside and don't have shadows and all that nonsense going on. I am also thinking about doing a trial run with her.. like an engagement shoot. I haven't talked to her or my FI yet about this but we will see. Of course I need my ring first!! HAHa we had a VERY informal "engagement" so now I am just waiting for the romantic profession of love (and the ring) to come!!

Anyone else??

wow! do you have any idea if it is happening soon?? you HAVE to let us know when it happens!!!

HAHAH you two are funny!! I love your idea! Not sure it will work because I am sure the STD will go out before I get my ring.

However.... I do plan on buying him a watch as an engagement gift... I hope to get it soon (just trying to decide which one to get - I want to get him the one he will wear for the wedding so I need it to be THE Perfect watch) He his very picky about his watches and has a very nice collection.. Anyways.... I hope to have the watch before he gives me my ring SOOoooo that I can give it to him and say "It's about Time!" I was even thinking about getting that engraved on the watch (if it is a watch that can be engraved)

You idea would be much cheaper though HAHA Hmmmm.......

such a cute idea!

I think they will understand that! hahahah

haha totally! he tunes out after 10 minutes!

but boy, I can't keep up with you ladies either! I think once I finally set a date and resort, I will have more to contribute but getting advice and support (and laughs) from you is so priceless!

cute!!! great job on the maracas!

I think the streamers are cute too - I think the guests will either leave them on the chairs if there is a cocktail hour in between or bring them to the reception if that's right away depending on how far it is. I would think people would use the maracas more bc it's fun with the noise

I have become diy queen and finished my first project maracas that will be placed on place setting (shake for a kiss/party prop) 400

Then for the ceremony I was planning on making these paper cones for confetti
400

Until I saw this!!!
400

Looved the idea so much that I went to Michaels and went to purchase the materials to make them BUT now I'm thinking what will the guests do with them after the ceremony? Throw them out? Take them to the reception? But then they would have the same use as the maracas won't they?? Should I just have both?

You guys are definitely my support and inspiration!

you all have definitely become my sheros

those that are singles.. better get together and share a room. lol and cut the expense down. i have single friends and that's what i suggested to them or they will pay smae for one person as if they were two.. lol but i knew when i lookje at it , it was where i wanted it. so i didn't change my mind, plus it had all the amenties i wanted plus was less expensive than most places, was all oceanview and private balconies.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
