That butler service!! Lol my resort offers a presidential suite also with a butler we wanted the suite more beacuse its a 3bdrm and the night before the wedding fi can just move into one instead of switching rooms with someone and the private pool is nice but im happy with the room category under tat one with club premium service. I plan on taking my favor bottles to them and ask them to fill upwith the resorts mamajuana and maybe even help me with the giving out of welcome bags
Oh that is a good option.. but what about in the morning? Where is he getting ready at? I have just recently been thinking about the "night before" I wonder if he will want to stay in someone else's room hmm... I do know he doesn't want to see my dress until I'm walking down the aisle. Which is hard for me to imagine... he NEVER waits for anything.. like gifts -- if he knows i have his birthday/christmas gifts in the house he will bother me for them until I just give them to him.. even if it is a week away. *sigh* hahah Having them fill up your bottles is a great way to save some money! Do you know for sure they will do that for you?

I would like to say that mine has been like that ever since we started planning a wedding.... however, he is always like that HA! I have to either wait til he is in the mood to talk or trick him into listen to me when I want to ask him something and he isn't in the mood. Pouting works - but can't do it all the time cause that just annoys him HAHA One day when he was giving me the "yeah yeah yeah" I stopped talking - waiting a minute then said "do you want me to just plan everything by myself so I don't have to be bothered with trying to talk to you and get your opinion - cause that would be easier for me OR do you want to have a say in Your wedding - I just don't want to bother you if I don't have to" I was sure to say this with no attitude so he didn't get defensive. his reply "I want to be involved!" so I told him fine and that I will run things by him before I proceed but if he doesn't have time to listen I will just move on in whatever way I want...... he hasn't given me the "yeah yeah yeah" since. They need to feel like it was their idea - so I know he thinks I ask him because he told me he wants to be involved.... I know he still isn't always listening.. so if I need to I'll pout ;) He did actually ask me one day "don't you have friends to talk to about this stuff" So if yours says that tell him YES - BDW so don't bother me while I'm on in.. even if it is "all the time" HAHAH
Exactly well put! Hahaha

I guess if worst comes to worstwe could pay for a room for that day. Once in DR the prices for rooms drop tremendouslyl lol. Theyre going to have to fill up the bottles, i coud see myself turning into bridezilla lol. If not, ill just make friends with a bartender and give him a nice tip

I did that a few times. Said you know... This was your idea. Listen to meeeeee. Then I feel like crap cuz he looks a little hurt that I'm not all psyched to declare my undying devotion in front of the world. Lol. I'm such a B sometimes .lol. We are trying to squeeze in a trip to see some of the resorts next month. Plus we have a loooooong time planned trip to New Zealand and Australia in October. Been planning and saving for a year . It's MY DREAM trip! Also why I haven't thrown in the wedding towel. He's sucking it up for me and spending a mini fortune to go. :0/
Sounds like an amazing trip

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
