Yeah, I'm feeling a little bummed---I'm cutting corners everywhere and my budget is still not where it needs to be. :(  One option is to just have everything on the resort, but I truly love my private, off-resort location and I don't want to NOT invite all of my guests! lOL
I know how you feel... seems like I'm wanting more and more and can't have it..hope all works dor you..did you decide to pay the site fee?

I also wanted to have a excursion day. I wanted to do the catamaran cruise as well as the conch shack and froggy atv tour. . Haven't picked one yet. I would like to pay for wedding party if feasible for us and just put in the itinerary all welcome to join.
Oh that is a good idea to pay for your wedding party ... if you can end up doing that. I have no wedding party - so I either pay for everyone or no one I guess haha I have considered doing something extra like an excursion for the parents only actually... but I'm just not sure what I want to do yet.

Haha that would totally suck if we all got banned :( I'd miss everyone - I always say "awwww :( when I log on and there hasn't been any updates) hahah maybe I need some friends?!

I sent out my STD (email only) and wedding website link about a month ago. Both included everything needed to contact the TA and book accommodations. So far, I have 15 rooms and 37 people attending the June 2014 wedding. Do you think I should send paper invitations and if so, when? I have to a final count for the resort by the end of March. Almost everyone I want to attend has put down a deposit already. Or, should I just send paper wedding announcements after the wedding? Confused😕

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
