Thanks ladies! I def have to get a move on it. My FI is very laid back and has no idea what wedding planning entails (not that I know much either) but he thinks we can just plop on a beach and that's that! :)

We narrowed it down to a couple of islands but now we need to research resorts. Is this the hardest part??? Picking a date and location?

I am having 20 guest and I'm going to a Sandals Resort.  They have lots of excellent options to choose from. It is easy cause they are all on their website to view ahead of time.  Plus, with the amount of people you have coming you get lots of things added for FREE : )

Which Islands do you have it narrowed down to?

Yay!!! I really like the purple ones.  I have a Dollar Tree 5 minutes from me I should go see if they have clear ones, it will save me from paying shipping.  I also found pretty cheap ones on discountmugs.com that I could customize and not have to order the waterproof labels from Etsy so that may end up being cheaper/easier for me!

I THINK I remember seeing once (not sure if it was in the store or on the website)  That you can have it shipped to the store for free.. you just have to go pick it up.

However, that sounds like a good idea if it is about the same price to order from discountmugs :)

You can ship to the store for free. I found this way to be way cheaper. The imprint fee alone on discountmugs was $48 (which is what I spent for the 48 cups and $4 in labels. So for 48 cups I paid $52!!!

That is way cheaper than discountmugs.com!  Thank you!!!!  You may have said it but where did you get your labels? I was looking on etsy, I just want to make sure they're waterproof.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
