I can't wait for our honeymoon! We're spending 1 night in FL then going on a 12 day cruise to Central America, South America and the Caribbeanwoot.gif

Oooo...that sounds like a blast!

Just to make things worse, today I decided to call my travel agent to talk to her about the resort and the rooms so that I can get my invitations made and guess what? It looks like I HAVE NO travel agent! No wonder I sent an email 3 weeks ago and NEVER got an answer. I am beyond angry. Apple Vacation didn't bother to inform me, or get me a new travel agent or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called and I got a machine. They are going to get a piece of my mind because that is bad customer service!! I should have been informed that the TA quit or left or anything and got replaced ASAP. This is something I am not suppose to be stressing about. I am not a happy camper.

Eww - that super sucks!!  I hope you are able to get everything worked out : (

Sorry Jessica,

I must say I have been emailing my TA none stop. We understand each other now and its a great feeling. Have you tried a WTA?

They are wedding TA... they have their own destination wedding agents and all! Now I have to Lead of all wedding travel agents so i am guessing there won't be any more surprises when it comes to the wedding planning. She has emailed me about 3 times now and is trying to play catch up... I guess it could be worse.

I need help choosing colors for my wedding. I am very bad at coordinating/decorating and what not. I love the color teal or a turquoise and I saw  picture on this website of the girls wearing a teal dress with the fuchsia flowers and I loved it!!! Should I try to do teal, fuchsia, and gray or white? Would that even go together?

My fiance and I are getting married {courthouse} this year because we can't afford to the wedding we want. Why do the courthouse? Well due to my health issues, I need to start working on kids if I plan to have any, but we made a promise to our families to wait to have kids till we are married.

I have to say I just joined the site and I'm already addicted!

Atleast you have a variety. .are you going to put in oot bags or have a flip flop station? I was thinking if having guest wear a certain color as well but not sure now.

I just wish they had a lighter brown or even manly tropical colors haha- I think idk ... hahaha

If I use them they will go in the Welcome bags.

I am defiantly asking everyone to wear white/ light beige to the wedding - honestly I really don't want anyone to stick out in the pics : )  and there are so many shades of every color that I didn't want to go with something like blue .. I figured shades of white are safe.   Plus, I don't have a bridal party so I want everyone to feel and look like they are part of the wedding not just guest at it.

This was part of the original conversation my FI and I had -  but then I have been indecisive about it --- I think there are are ups and downs.  I just started working with a TA - I will see what types of options she throws my way.

One questions she asked me to help her figure out if I should go somewhere different (this is assuming guest will be staying at the resort after your wedding) was "are they high maintenance"   She suggested if they are to go somewhere new after the wedding so you can enjoy your time with your new husband on your honeymoon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
