Hope im not to indecisive when I go..im the worse at decision making.

Thanks!  Trust me you'll know when you've found it.  Just make sure you're open to trying on different styles because the one you love may not be what you thought it would be.

I also want to wait until booked but don't want to wait too long either. I guess I will go ahead and ask within the next month or two. I do have a dilema. His BM is his best friend like a brother to him. He was married two years ago and ofcourse FI was his BM. I was not in the wedding his wife and him are the godparents to our children. We are friends but they were friends first they all grew up together they reference each other as brothers and sister. They are all assuming that she is a BM however I had no intentions of making her one now I don't know what to do. Am wrong to not ask her? Or do I just bite the bullet and ask her?
I asked my bridesmaids after they booked & I knew they were going. originally only wanted 3, but FI got ahead of me & asked his guys the days after we were engaged! & he asked 5! Needless to say I politely explained to him the delicate nature of wedding planning without consulting the bride first! But I loved his enthusiasm lol
It's awkward, and easier said than done, but I HATE it when ppl get their feelings hurt about anything about your wedding. I'm sorry, but I thought it was MY wedding. I say do what you want. I changed one small thing about my wedding, and I regret it and think about it constantly. I wish I had stood my ground. You should do what YOU want on YOUR day.

Yup, that's really good advice! I ended up getting something I NEVER would have tried. I had a really good salesperson who knew what would look good on my body type. Definitely try on different things!

I hope so. I always wondered if that was true that you know the one..

It is....I found THE ONE on saturday and it was the same feeling as my engagement ring. Altho the other dresses were pretty I just felt that something was missing. The person who was helping me really was no help b/c she didn't listen to me about things I wanted to try. There was another bride there having her mother try on dresses and she pointed out this dress and told me to try it on and we grabbed it ourselves off the rack and let me tell you....I just fell in love. Ugh....I keep looking at the pictures a million times a day since.

I actually ended up getting the very first dress I tried on (after trying on several others, THE ONE a few more times and going to another shop to try on other designers).  I loved it the moment I put it on and once they added the belt and my sister added a necklace I knew it was the one!  It's definitely the funnest thing I've done wedding planning.  It's a Sincerity Bridal Gown which is made by Jason Alexander.  I put a link to the dress below...my belt is a little different than the one in the picture but very similar, I LOVE it.

I'm not going to change any part of our wedding b/c of someone else, we have already discussed this

FH and I have been talking about this over the weekend. her being in the wedding. I explained how I hadn't planned on her being in the wedding and didn't really know if I wanted her to be in it . He understood and says the girls are my choice and apologies for assuming. I'm more relieved now. Not 100% sure who I am choosing as of yet but I wanted to make the choice on my own not have my girls picked for me. Its really important to him I might very well ask her but it'll be my choice.

I'm glad you cleared that up and that your FH apologized to you.  All is well that ends well!

That is awful that your salesperson wasn't attentive. She/he is in the wrong business. You should have reported your experience

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
