I don't think I was mentally ready for the stress but the stress has officially begunfeedback.gif.  Finding a resort that is family friendly, with great rates is exhausting. I am unofficially (officially) confirmed for April 13th,2014 at the Jellyfish Restaurant in Punta Canawoot.gif. I am researching this board big time! I hope to get save the dates out this month and send the invitations in July/Aug because I want to give guest time to prepare and start making payments. I still have to decide on invitations ( diy or buy online), resort, etc. I am using a WTA and I hope she does an excellent job because if I am stressed now, I wonder what 3-6 months out would be like BangHead.gif

Hi Girls,

So I have about 1 week left in invitation making. I have to say this project bit me in the you know what!!! I took on wayyy too much but the satisfaction of that first one keeps me going. I decided to start doing something fun like looking at bridesmaids' tees. I know it's too early but it's something fun after such a huge task!!!

I think I am very lucky to be able to get an early start on planning a wedding! I will be able to do all the DIY's I can get into! AND hopefully save money by finding deals! Anyone else blessed as well?
I am brand new to the forum... Literally 3 minutes in, lol. My fiancé and I are looking at a November 2014 wedding in Cabo. I'm so excited and already overwhelmed. Not only are we newly engaged, but we are also in the process of moving from New York to Tennessee. This is going to be a very eventful year and a half, but I know good things come to those who wait, so I'm willing to take my time and plan things out perfectly til then! Congratulations to all the future brides!!

Anybody with Mexico in Mind???
Cabo San Lucas hit us one night as we sat in front of the tv, looking at beach wedding pics. It didn't take long for us to decide this was perfect for us. We both love to fish and we were both raised near the coast. This forum is so great for helping you decide on everything from the resort to the flowers and the DJ.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
