Hey Moodyc82 do you mind sharing your TA info. I've been debating on using one but I think I want to work with one and decrease my responsibility with this part of the planning. Thanks!
A good TA makes all the difference! I am a TA and I have one because I don't want to deal with the monetary side as it relates to my family, I avoid family politics. :-)

For me I love being a DW designer and TA but the idea of personal and family politics leave me dizzy. As a bride I want to relax and not worry about anything, but my brides and their weddings. I so could not do my own! I think OCD would kick in.

We're honeymooning at the same place to make it easier.....we've kind of discussed the AHR but he said after the holidays we'll evaluate it.....I feel like we can't wait that long.....I wish we had a yard to have a party in, but we don't :(

agreed! I just find it silly to be spending more money after the wedding too. If we could just rent a "hall" and get food brought in for cheap, that would be idea. We will not be doing a full dinner I know that much! For the amt of people that will likely come, no way haha! Just apps.

My future MIL wanted a big AHR and we told her unless she's paying for it were doing what we can afford.....so crazy to even think about it at this point

My FIL wants us to have one after we come back from the wedding. I told my fiance "not happening". My FIL's  reasoning is that not everyone that has been invited to the wedding will be able to attend. Which i understand, but i dont want to spend more money after our DW. Unless they are paying for the AHR, we willl not be having one.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
