Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?

I am a 2014 bride as well!

We have decided on Dreams Los Cabos for our venue and just submitted dates, locations for ceremony and reception to Yesica, the contact from Dreams. We have a date set for 10/3/2014. I have made up my own estimate by calculating everything I wanted from what they had to offer. HAHA! If anyone has been or has worked with Yesica I would like some feedback. Its been taking several days at a time to get a response from her but she seems very nice :) Right now I am trying to find good deals for photographers, video, dj and mariachi (that is a must have). Very excited and feeling overwhelmed already even though our planned wedding is 2 years away. Very excited!

Your invites are very nice.  I wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks Resplendent,

Do you think that the envelope color is quite cheesy, would you think this envelope's color will be better?

And Do you think that the invitation suit's color is too cheesy, I love it so far, however, just think that some may think it's too cheesy. I would efifinitely change some color of the wording (quite fade away and difficult to read) ???

Hi Zoe,

I do like the second envelope color.  When I initially looked at it, I thought those colors were selected because they are the colors of your wedding (teal and pink?).

I see what you are saying about the wash out.  I think the  pink and teal wording could be bolded.  Maybe that will bring it out more.

Hi Resplendent,

yes, the wedding color is teal and baby pink. I like how it looks to be honest, but I think we will make change with the color of the envelope to make it less busy, and color of some of the wording to more original color such as black or red. We will play around with photoshop more. I will post the final results. I'm glad that everybody loves it so far, I totally worried that it is too cheesy.

Thanks heaps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
