I've just made my mind for our save the dates ! We're doing postcards, now I need to print those and send them ! That will give everybody exactly a year to get ready !! I'm thinking of going with the passports as well for my invites ! Are you doing them yourself ????? How many months in advance are you planning on sending them ?

Ladies: I'm planning to get married at the Iberostar Grand next year in early August.  I've just emailed the resort for info and prices.  Would you share with me any information, at all,  you have about the resort, services and prices?  I would be so appreciative.  My private email is ymfjd@yahoo.com.  Thanks, again!

Hi Marie-Eve,

I just emailed you the photographer's info.

I am having a simbolic wedding - on the beach because I did not like the other location - it's a garden not a gazebo.

For the OOT bags will let you guys know as soon as I start buying and what i'll end up with :)

I want too much... but having to carry stuff out there is going to cost a lot so we'll see when I start purchasing.

I would want to start now but I don't have a total # of guests and somethings can be hard to find later and i want to be to as equal as possible.

Hi AndyB,

I am also planning to do the passport invitation... I am going to buy the template from http://www.ayleebits.com/2009/03/09/passport-invitation-template/  the $10 one.

What colors are you having on your wedding?

I'll post pictures as soon as I get started.

Happy Planning and let me know if I can be of any help to you - and everyone else here of course cheer2.gif

Best Regards,

Eva

Hi ladies!

Just curious where everyone is doing their reception? I am planning  to do mines at the Jamalaya cajun restaurant, as from what I've read it's air conditioned and more intimate. It won't be a private reception as I only have a small group of guests. Unfortunately, they only offer exclusivity of the restaurant if there's more than 40 ppl. It doesn't leave room for dancing/entertainment options. Are any of you having a non private reception as well, and if so what are your thoughts on no entertainment/dancing and that you'll be dining with other guests too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
