Hi everyone,

 

I've been planning my PDC wedding. We're thinking of having our ceremony at either The Royal or at Gran Porto Real and then thinking of having our reception at Kool Beach Club. Do any of you guys have any information about Kool? I haven't been to PDC, so not sure about distance. How far of a walk is Kool from The Royal or Gran Porto? Will the walk back be safe? I'm a little concerned that my guests, who may or not be intoxicated, wil have to walk back at night. Thanks so much!

Hi,

 

Kool is a short walk from both those resorts. About 5 minutes.

 

It's a safe walk for sure- however I never walk alone on the beach in any country and I'd suggest the same to your guests. Take 5th Ave or the beach route only if they are in a group.

 

I don't have much info on weddings at Kool but have been to the beach club a couple of times and had a great time, great service etc.

Hello Kim02242012,

 

From the Royal to Kool beach is 150 meters on the beach or taking 5th av would be 400 meters, and what most fun about walking on 5th you can choose to have mariachi to escort you and your guest. its super fun all your guests will love it!!

 

Then at the end of the reception to walk on the beach since it would be quicker, playa is safe, as a precaution its always good for your guests to walk in groups that late.

Hello Kim,

We like Kool for receptions and is only 2 blocks from the Royal and Grand Porto Real.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
