Well here it is....... my veil!!! Believe it or not it is made from an Ikea curtain panel . The curtain panels cost around $20.00 might have even been cheaper, I can’t remember.  I can’t sew worth beans so I just took it to a seamstress and it was easy work for her.  The sides are already scalloped all the way down so all she had to do was cut of some of the scalloping from the extra panel in the pack and sew it onto the bottom.  The seam is completely invisible!

Luggage Tags:     I had a lot of fun with this project.  For the clear luggage tags I purchased ID badge holders from Staples. I think it was like $14.00 for 25 don’t quote me on that though.

Flowers: Not 100% on my bouquets yet but I am hoping to create something with a mixture of the bouquets below     The bridesmaids will carry something very similar to tis I hope.

Wow! Sun Surf and Sand, you have completely inspired me! My wedding is August 24, 2013 in Punta Cana, and I have been searching through all sorts of DIY ideas for the wedding. I know that a ton of people have asked you already, but would you mind sending me the template for your program? My email is [email protected]. Thanks again for all of the awesome ideas. I can't wait to try out those votive candle holders! P.S. your gown and veil look AMAZING!

Wow, I had to read this twice..i can't believe this is a curtain panel! I even showed this to my coworker and she agrees...It's beautiful :) great idea!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
