Color Coral

Recommended Posts

I chose coral for my bm dresses as well. David Levkoff style #165 coral. My dress is ivory. So there will be some golds, creams, ivory and coral colors in the wedding. Some of the OOT bag stuff has aqua/turquoise color mixed in also.

My daughter is doing coral , gray, and white. We gave up on finding the right shade of coral BM dress and went with a light gray. We'll just do the flowers in coral. White tablecloths with a gray and white chevron runner. Coral napkins and chair sashes. White lantern and white wooden letter with a vase of coral and white flowers for the centerpieces.

So, we finally decided we are going to have all our bridesmaids in Coral  (guava color from Davids Bridal).   I told each girl to pick a short or high-low dress in the color any dress style of their choice.   For shoes they will either wear silver or champange sandals.

the Groom's mother will be wearing a mint/aqua color dress

We're also going to use coral and mint as our decor colors:

bridesmaids flowers  -     I made silk bouquets with white, coral, pink flowers and added 1 mint flower in each.  with white ribbon around handle and tied a small aqua ribbon bow at top of handle.

Bride Bouquet  -    Same as the bridesmaides, but larger and has 4 mint flowers, white feathers, 4 small pearl rhinesones and 5 starfish brooch pins.

we are going to use their flowers as centerpieces for reception.  Going to make vases  using aqua Blumebox holders decorated with silver sparkle and starfish.

for table linens havent decided yet but these are our choices:

mint runners  with coral napkins  and mint maracas

burlap runners with coral napkins and mint maracs

mint & color cocktail straws

if you go to my page on here you can see pics of the bouquets on my DIY photos

Coral is a beautiful color. I am undecided as not all of my bridesmaids are able to wear coral. I am thinking of coral with neutral tones. One of my BM has a full sleeve in color which limits a lot of dress styles and colors, but true to her charismatic personality, she will wear anything with a smile and look beautiful as ever!

Coral/fucshia/magenta and orange here! Coral looks good on most everyone with a bit of a tan!

I'm doing coral, shades of pink (fuchsia and blush), a hint of orange, and gold accents.

I have my girls in 2 different colour and styles of dresses (1 light pink, 1 coral). Going to try and work the ombre effect so things are less matchy matchy and I don't have to have everything match perfectly. As others have noted, there are so many different "corals" out there!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
