Hi!

My name is Ashliegh and I too am planning a wedding in Costa Rica the first week in May actually 1-8. I think we are going to stick to Guanacaste. We had our hearts set on los Suenos marriott but it has been a battle to get resonable rates, wedding info, etc...and I started this process back in March. We are currently looking into the new RIU Palace thats opening in November of this year. I have been reading and reading looking for reviews and feedback about the area etc. Well good luck with the planning.

So we will be about the same time!! I saw the pics for the palace looks Awesum we have also considered that. We have stayed at 2 rius, one in Mexico and one in Jamaica. I like their establishments! Ya i am going next month to meet with my travel agent, since she thinks the prices will be going down a bit there. I have been our biggest thing is keeping it around or below 1200. I have been researching the Allegro Papagayo a little and the Rius

Hi, my name is Brad and I'm a musician in Guanacaste, specializing in destination weddings. There are dozens of beautiful venues in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica on the North Pacific Coast. My favourite places are Marriott Guanacaste, Tamarindo Diria, Westin Conchal and Riu Guanacaste. If you are looking for something quieter then there are also lots of smaller boutique hotels like Capitan Suizo, Bosque Del Mar or Langosta Beach Club. Or there's villa resorts like Bahia Pez Vela which is very nice. Most of them can arrange the ceremony on the beach then a bonfire after dinner. My group Los Mojitos can play for the ceremony on the beach and/or for dancing music at the reception.

If you are being married in the Playas del Coco area, I recommend you check out this site http://www.bahiapezvela.com/ it is a lovely secluded place, on the beach, with a great restaurant, and excellent service. They can handle weddings accommodations and villas for up to about 100 people.  I am sure they have recommendations for wedding coordinators in the area, or can handle it for you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
