Thanks so much for all the help, everyone. You all are too sweet.
I went in and tried this
The first dress (the grecian one) is definitely beautiful, but I realized that it's just not me. I'm a very modern, minimalist kind of lady, and I just wouldn't feel right looking "goddessy" on my wedding day. I will be selling the grecian dress though, and hopefully it finds the right home!

I was torn between wearing a flowy, more traditional beach dress similar to your first dress versus a trumpet style dress. You said it perfectly, the trumpet looks a bit more sleek and glamorous, which is why I went with a trumpet/fit and flare. I liked the more flowey chiffon dresses, especially for a beach wedding, but felt that I could wear that sort of dress to any nice function, not just my wedding. When else can you wear a trumpet dress?!
This was my dress:
Thanks for all the positive comments about my current dress! That makes me feel a lot better about my original choice. However, I still can't get the trumpet silhouette out of my mind... it just looks so sleek and glamorous. Sigh.

Thanks ladies! @TheWolferts: your gown is beautiful! I love the way it folds around, so old-Hollywood.
