I had tissue balls for my shower they were so easy and pretty what a great idea because really you could do that when you get there and then you wouldn't have to worry about them at all getting there!

I am good I am really, really excited about going just to be on vacation in the sun with all my friends and family it is going to be the trip of a lifetime, and then we are getting married as well also awesome! I hope that people are talking about this for years to come, and that maybe with some of the people we could do this way more often I love group travel it is so much fun!!!!

They will for sure! I keep thinking the same thing...people are going to talk about it for a long time and hopefully we will encourage more people to have destination weddings, lol

I just received some excellent news.  A friend of ours who has been battling cancer for 3 years and is scheduled to start chemo again, has been told by her Dr. to go ahead to our wedding in Cuba and they will start the chemo upon her return.  This is the first and probably the only vacation she will ever experience.  I am super thrilled that she is coming that I cried and now I can't stop smiling!  NO ONE deserves a vacation more than she and her husband do!

That is the best news ever!!!!!

My uncle has some health issues something with his liver, and he wont be able to come to Cuba with us it is very sad because this would probably have been his last trip as well... so I can imagine how happy you must be for her, and how happy she must be!

I can't believe how quickly the wedding is approaching.  I am very excited, but a bit frustrated that two of my fiance's brothers are still undecided if they are going to come.  It's a long story, but they are both currently booked, but thinking about backing out at the last minute (one for a hockey tournament, and the other as he is procrastinating on his passport).  No one seems to think about how inconsiderate that is.  I wont know whether they are coming until likely the very last minute.  His parents are also trying to change their flights too... I just don't understand why people think it's ok to wait until the last minute to do things.  They have been talking about changing the days for over a month now.  When will they do it.

Like I said, I am super excited for the wedding.  I can't wait to have two weeks to be on vacation, one week just my new husband and I!  Super excited!  However, I am feeling some jitters - but about how I am going to spend time with both of our families.  I KNOW that this is going to be an issue, and it's the biggest stress factor for me right now (in addition to the above).  Any one have any ideas how to make this less stressful?  lol. (ya right, like it's possible, haha).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
