Hi ladies,

Im getting maried November 8, 2013 at Azul Sensatori.  Im so glad I found this forum.  I had seen one for May 2013 but never thought to search for a November 2013... I am sooo excited but still have much planning to do.  I have already booked the resort and the honeymoon and our flights.  Working on the reception venue at this point. Have got the save the dates out and the invites should go out this weekend.  So fa have about 24 guests coming.  I think for the most part most of the people that are coming are booked.

Happy planning ladies.cheesy.gif

Hi hezmshaw, When is your wedding? Where are you having your reception. I had my heart set on plaza zavas but wasn't sure about a private event when I first booked. By the time I decided on the private event that location was taken. Have it set for poolside but I'm still thinking that over.

I know thats what I keep saying November is still 7 months away but I have now been engaged for over a year and that went really quickly so I am sure it will be here before we know it!

Hi November Ladies!!!

There hasn't been much action on this forum in a few weeks.  I was wondering where everyone is at with their planning so far.

Last weekend I found my wedding jewelry, which was very exciting!  I also purchased a few things at Hobby Lobby: invitations, a cake topper, and garter (50% off!).  I was in Sam's Club and found these awesome huge travel tumbler mugs... 6 for $20.  Couldn't turn down that price for favors for our guests!!!

Two of my sisters have booked their trips, as have my parents.  I am so excited!

I have various things that I have left to do:

-Find FI suit (any suggestions?  We are finding this hard in our price range)

-Send out Invitations

-Write our ceremony

-Finish playlist for dinner and dance

-DIY foot jewelry for bridesmaids

-Find wedding shoes

I am sure I am forgetting tons of stuff that needs to be done.  Where is everyone else at?

Just over 6 months until we leave!!

I actually went dress shopping this weekend. I kept trying different dresses on and I felt like I was liking the next better than the last. I have appts set up for the next few Saturdays with the last one one 6/15. Hopefully I find something by then. I've lost some weight but still plan to lose another 20. I'm afraid I'm going to order my dress too big and need crazy alterations but I don't want to have any issues with the dress not being done on time... I was just working on my oot bag Chapstick labels. Just did the template now just have to print. Is everyone packing each bag then packing it in luggage? Wasn't sure if I shud make the survival kits and all but then that still leave alot to do when u get there... What is everyone else doing? I am trying to get the menu down along with the cake ordered by the end if this weekend. I feel like I'm all over the place with this stuff.

I have my dress, photographer booked, invites are out, started the work my DIY place cards and banner.....and that's about it....just surfing the net now for ideas. I am trying to hold off on any more purchases until I can get to the States in July with my Mom. OOT bag fillers, shoes and decorations are so much cheaper down there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
