Thanks for posting about Studiosuits.com and the great deal you found at Old Navy. I am nervous about ordering a suit online but it's probably the route we'll take so he can get an affordable suit that (hopefully) looks good. Does anyone know other than linen what fabrics are best for suits in hot weather?

Here are some websites I found with veil weights. They're magnetic so you can pop them on for the ceremony and take them off without ruining your veil. http://www.savetheveil.com/ a shop on etsy http://www.etsy.com/listing/122616090/magnetic-pearl-veil-weights-bride-bridal?ref=v1_other_1  and http://www.haircomesthebride.com/save_the_veil_veil_weights.htm. There are probably tons of other places to find them as well.

I am going to get them lounge chair covers I found a seller on etsy that sells them... I love them so much that I think that I will get myself one,

http://www.etsy.com/listing/62149312/lawn-chair-cover?ref=af_you_favitem

Tealmarie, from everything that I have read they are awesome, great quality and they have a destination section so that may help with the material, I am a little nervous too but my FI and I get so much on the internet anyway why not this too, and they are $99 so even if you have to get them altered when they come big deal... also a tip that I read was to get the lining to the knee helps with see through material LOL.

My biggest thing is bridesmaid dresses, I cannot find any in the colour I want (bright orange) and with so much time until November I cant make up my mind on what to do about this situation, I found the perfect ones at Davids bridal online and when I went to the store they dont do them in that colour anymore WTF and they were rude, so now I cant go back because I hate rude customer service people more than anything! LOL back to the drawing board again.

I think I'm going to get my bridesmaids cute robes in different prints http://store.plumprettysugar.com/, a clutch and maybe earrings or a ring suited to them. I've also considered a very nice travel jewellry holder (it looks like a clutch). And I'm going to get them mani/pedis at the spa the day before or a massage, their choice.

Thanks for the tips on the suit. He doesn't even own one suit yet so any suit will be an upgrade. You're right that if you get it tailored specifically to him, it'll look really great even if it's a $99 suit.

The funny thing is this weekend while shopping for wedding dresses, we found a dress my Mom loved for herself but not in the colour she wanted. BUT it was in the most gorgeous shade of orange called 'Mango Tango'. I tried to convince her to get it anyways. Here's a link, maybe they have other styles in the same shade? http://www.jasminebridal.com/ugC_Product_Detail.asp?hidP_kind=Bridesmaids&hidP_style=Belsoie&hidP_style_ID=L154021&hiddetaillist=01

I think what I am going to do is get a bunch of pictures together and go to every bridal salon in Calgary until someone has something! Thanks for the link that is a nice dress, when I search for stores on that website the only one listed is Toronto! Another idea is that summer stuff should be coming out soon maybe we will find something in stores! Who knows.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
