Congrats!! You are going to have an amazing time!! When is your wedding?  I will be there from Nov 25-30 with my husband for our 1 year anniversary!!! :) Can't wait!!!!!! :)

Thanks! We are still trying to secure our date with the resort, but we are aiming for early November. Happy anniversary! Enjoy your stay there :)

slstriednig and FutureMrsSingh - Welcome! This site really is my favourite for wedding planning, everyone here is so super friendly. I'm not sure if it's because DW brides are more relaxed, but whatever it is, it's awesome!

 

So girls, I picked up my dress today and I'm going to post a lot of photos because I haven't been able to share it with anyone yet and I'm too darned excited! 

 

This is with the lace overlay that I'll wear for the ceremony with this belt and my veil. I kind of want to wear it for the first part of the reception, so I can get pictures with people in it, but haven't decided yet.

I'm thinking I'll wear earrings and a bracelet with the lace for the ceremony but no necklace because of the beautiful neckline. When I change for the reception I'll put on a pretty necklace and maybe keep the bracelet and just be super sparkly! More cocktail hour-ish.

Hi Kirab22! In addition to the helpful tips from the ladies on here, your photographer is a great person to ask about timelines. They are the lighting experts and have the timeline down to a science! :) I'm sure you haven't picked a photographer yet, but this is a great question to ask potential photographers to see how knowledgeable they are.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
