To Veil or not to Veil?

Recommended Posts

I've been debating about this too, but I think it will be an easier decision once I have my dress.  I've seen lovely hair decorative jewelry, and flowers in addition to veil's so i'm not sure what to do.  Maybe i'll do a shorter veil or birdcage with a flower for the ceremony, and jewelry for the reception and ttd.  Decisions decisions!! Just another one of many to make...LOL

I did both- a decorative hair band and a cathedral veil. I had a first look without the veil. I put the veil put in the middle of the back of my head with the decorative hair band across the top. I wore the veil for the ceremony and pictures after, then took it off for my reception. I wore it for a longer period of time during my AHR. I regret not taking it to my trash the dress. Definitely see what looks best with your dress. I love birdcage but it did not match my dress, and I love flowers. I ended up wearing a flower clip for my civil wedding 30 days before my DW, wearing a birdcage at my bridal shower (it was a tea party theme) and wearing the cathedral for our Catholic Church ceremony at the DW. Best way to satisfy all your desires! Wear em all lol why not? You're only a bride once.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
