I want lots of glowing lights and ambiance. I was inspired by many items I have seen on this site :)  Here are the overlays I will be bringing with me. I will couple them with napkins and chair sashes in the persian plum color.

Congratulations!!

Your wedding looked absolutely stunning!  And I love all the small details you incorporated.  Have a few questions for you...

1) I love the chinese lanterns, but they are pretty pricey in the sheet of upgrades from Cecilia.  Like $350 for 15!! Did you order them through the resort?  Or did you bring your own?

2) Your OOT bags are fantastic!!  Can you send me details on where you had the cards created, and the bags?  Thank you so much!!

Did you order them through the resort?  Or did you bring your own?  We upgraded through the resort. They were VERY pricey, when I know you could do it much less expensive on your own, but they require you go through them for it, as they have to install the electricity to light them and the poles. Absolutely worth the upgrade.

2) Your OOT bags are fantastic!!  Can you send me details on where you had the cards created, and the bags?  Thank you so much!!  I printed everything through Vistaprint, and had the bags made from discountmugs.com. They were very inexpensive. if you have any specific other questions, please feel free to email me at lauragoldstein24@hotmail.com

THANK YOU!!! Please see I answered above in red (Cecilia style, LOL)!

Oh my gosh!!  LolaTX you had a BEAUTIFUL wedding!!  I am also from Texas and planning for November 2013!!! Thank you soo much for adding all of your ideas/lessons here!!  I am so glad to hear you say the lanterns are worth it.  I have been debating on them.   You said that you used a travel agent, but did you do a room block or did you let your guests book on their own?  I am guessing that I may have more questions for you as I get further in the process, but thank you again!!!!

Love the personalized hangers! How did you label them with Maid of Honor, etc? Or did they come like that?

One more question, you said that you found your travel agent through the resort facebook page.  Were they located in Texas?  Do you recommend them?  Did they help you with any of the contract negotiation stuff?  Any advice is appreciated!  I have a travel agent I have worked with for other weddings that I have attended in the past, but she seems to only know about the travel side of things (which is what I expect & she is great, but just curious if there is another option out there).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
