Ok  - so now I'm back to thinking I want to book Neysa. After reading more of her reviews.... I'm so tempted. Can anyone confirm if they had to pay the resort to have her come on site? Or is she a preferred vendor?

You don't have to pay a vendor fee for Neysa. Be sure to let Magda know who your vendors are so she can prepare for them.

I booked Neysa for my wedding Oct 27th, 2012. I did not want to pay the Riu vendor fee of $300 if you use an outside vendor. So Neysa made arrangements

for me and my girls to have our services done at a nearby spa close to the resort. The spa only charged $85 to use their salon. So I thought that was a great deal.

I will let you know how it turns out. I've heard great things about Neysa as well. I definitely didn't want to use the Riu's on site makeup service, since I haven't heard 

great things about them.

I just booked with Susan Morel! I loved their work in photos. Susan personally called me and talked to me for at least 30 mins and answered all my questions. With my wedding package I would get free makeup and hair style at my resort at riu palace, but I am not willing to risk it. All the photos and videos later- I would rather pay more and look good My price would be 457 with tax, tip, for trial makeup and hair for the rehearsal dinner and the makeup and hair for the wedding day. It's a lot, but it's the only time in my life the way I look actually matters.

Update, Neysa and her team did end up getting back to me, buy Suzanne and her team are definatley more 'on it'.

There is a ton of great info on here! thanks ladies! I was also wondering about the hair and make-up that was included in my wedding package at dreams and debating if I should go to someone else. I am really considering Suzanne Morel. does anyone have pictures to share of their hair and makeup done by dreams los cabos? those who stated prices, is that an additional cost to what is already included in the package? Your feed back is greatly appreciated!

I am wondering the same thing! I get married at dreams in 2 weeks and was just going to have salon there do it, but now I am second guessing it. I have checked with suzanne morel and got her prices. It would cost $60.00 more for me if I went to her salon for the hair and makeup over dreams. I looked into Alma Vallejo who is alot cheaper and she comes to the resort, she is about the same price as the resort but I can't find much info about her.

I considered using the Riu's hair salon for hair and makeup but was not able to find many recent reviews. After reading a ton about how great Suzanne Morel's is, I decided to spend a bit more on someone more reputable. I don't want to take a chance and regret not spending a bit extra and cringe when I see photos. Just a thought!
