What all have you gotten planned with her so far? I feel like I am soooo behind. I've only picked my private events (including reception and stuff) and the meals for them. And that's about it, I'm stuck and I'm only 3 months away.....

Sorry, i havent been on in a while. I have contacted her, and thats about it! I havent selected anything just yet, not because of her, i just havent gotten around to making the decision. I really need to get to it!

A good place to start with looking for the best vendors for your personalized wedding is to check out the vendor reviews found right here at BDW.

We advise our wedding couples, that if photography is important to them, it's well worth the investment of getting a professional to capture your priceless memories! There are numerous professional photographers and videographers in our area whose specialty is capturing your Wedding Day Love Story in images that you'll cherish for the rest of your lives - trust them to get it picture perfect ....OR.... take a chance on the person wearing a t-shirt that reads "Photographer" - your choice.

Wishing you all the best with your plans - Happy New Year - Cheers!!!

here's a few from our rehearsal: http://www.brandonmoffitt.com/2013/08/31/gene-amandas-rehearsal-dinner/

you can see the beach deck, plus we did strings of lights for the setup (from zuniga).  otherwise we just did a few tea lights and maracas (bought downtown for about $50 for everything).

Hi!

Thanks for info! I am getting married at Playacar Palace May, 2016 and have a few questions about the Beach Deck reception.  How many sets of $25 Chinese lanterns did you use and how much did it cost?  Did you feel like you had enough lighting?  Do you think this is a good reception spot for 50 people?  Did you have a dance floor?  DJ?  How long was your reception?

Thanks for any and all help!

Alyssa

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
