Vegas Wedding Chapel Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Due to budgetary reasons and not having as many guests as we initiallly thought, we are looking into a ceremony at a wedding chapel.

Anyone have any recommendations? Good, bad, ugly??

I think "we" (meaning "I") have narrowed it down to either Little Chapel of the West or Little Chapel of the Flowers. FI could care less as long as we are married but I do not want to have a horrible experience on my wedding day.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

I can't remember the name, but there is a thread on here about an awesome little chapel in Vegas. There were pics posted too (I think from an engagement shoot or maybe even wedding) and it was a beautiful backdrop and setting... Sorry I'm not more help but I'll search and see if I can find it!

No, there was another one. I just did a search on "Vegas" but can't find what 'm looking for. I'll keep trying 'cos I know I read about it and thought -- "wow, if we get married in Vegas, that's the palce to do it!" aarrgghh!!!

Having lived in Las Vegas, you will find that there are so many chapels in one particular area, that are just stand alones right off the strip.

have you looked at this thread I posted?

I will have to think about it, but honestly the hotels all have really nice chapels that don't have to be as cheezy as the stand alone ones

My aunt is getting married at Wee Kirk O'the Heather on Saturday, but to be honest with you I wouldn't recommend it to anyone judging by it's website LOL

think it's great for her because her favourite flower is Heather, her favourite colour is purple, and the chapel is white with purple trim

But really, it's tacky :P

We're getting married in Vegas January 19, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel chapel. They have a nice package for around 1,000 and the chapel and hotel are really beautiful. We are on a budget too but are going with a bigger package because of the extra pictures and stuff...good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
