Newbie Intro: 2014 Bride somewhere in Mexico

My name is Lorraine and I just got engaged on 5/28/12. I am soo happy and excited to start the journey of planning a wedding! My FI and I knew even before we got engaged that we wanted a destination wedding. I am so excited in the planning process that I already feel I am way ahead of myself that I already know we want be married July 2014 somewhere in Mexico. This site has been so helpful that I THOUGHT I already knew what resort I wanted to get married in. In looking through reviews and pictures I fell in love with the Moon Palace in Cancun. HOWEVER, what the beach looks like is very important to us and looking through more and more pictures of the MP, we noticed there is a lot of seaweed/grass and the water is not that pretty. So my first of many questions to come is, What all-inclusive resorts in Mexico have the best beaches with crystal clear blue water and little to NOO seaweed/grass?

I think the beaches condition all really depend on the time of year you go and the upkeep taken by the resort.  Secrets Maroma has one of the best beaches in the Mayan.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
