Newbie - August Bora Bora wedding

Hi everyone,

My fiance and I live in Texas and are getting married this August in Bora Bora.  When we get home we are having a very small party for our immediate family and very close friends.

Thank you!  Planning for event itself is done, it was easiest!  Finishing up invites to party and announcements this week so they can go out.  The party is still a work in progress, LOL!

 

We chose Bora Bora because I have a huge piggy bank that I have been putting money in for years.  I have always called it my Bora Bora bottle.  I never actually thought I would be going there.  When my fiance proposed to me he also proposed we empty the bottle and go to Bora Bora.  We looked into it and off we go in August.

Thanks for the great story FIFAbride! I went ahead and featured this - I've been saving a few dollars a day in my piggy bank for a trip as well, 'Bora Bora Bottle' has such a great ring to it though! Congratulations, and I look forward to reading up on your planning!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
