Hi everyone.  I just found this website and I'm addicted to it already.  So much information that I feel so overwhelmed.  My FI and I recently decided to do research on destination weddings.  I can feel the warmth from everyone here already!

 

We're still in the research process and don't know where to go and what we will do yet.  Our big day is July 26, 2013.  The main things that will help us choose the location are:

 

- price (both for us and the guests)

- somewhere that we can have legal ceremony on the same date and don't have too much trouble on paperwork

- able to have catholic ceremony

- all inclusive would be nice

 

Hoping to find our dream location soon.  Thank you everyone for being so supportive of each other.  Many of the threads are amazingly informative!

Hey there!

 

My finance and I are planning a wedding May 18th, 2013 so very soon to your date.  We are currently looking at the Excellence Punta Cana resort as we have a couple people we know that highly recommended this resort.  I am currently going through the planning process just like you so hopefully if either of us find any beneficial information , we can share!

Hi Everyone! 

 

I've been lurking on this site since last year December when I got engaged. Thanks for providing soo much info and giving great tips on destination wedding planning. I'm hoping with all the good info on here I can plan my DW with the least amount of stress.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
