Does anyone have information about the different flower/decorations that are available?

Hello! We are planning a wedding at Excellence Playa Mujeres April, 5 2013. I am very excited that we have finally found a location. I have read and experienced that it is hard to get in touch with the wedding coordinator.   I have found some beautiful pictures of several weddings at the resort. However, I am not sure if the resort supplied certain decorations or if the bride supplied them. I would really like to see the different flowers and table linens that Excellence has so that I can begin to plan what I need to bring and more importantly what my colors will be. I would be more than happy to use the local flowers to plan my colors around but I am not sure what they are. I am a little crazy when it comes to things matching and want my save the dates to match my wedding colors. Does anyone have a list/pictures of flower, decoration, or linen options? Also, I would like any prices or "deals" that you might have gotten.

Hello Kristen, 

 

I hope this helps, If you gather your preferred type of linen and flowers, and send it to the coordinator from the hotel to make sure they get what you want or do make sure you check with them if they allow you to bring in outside vendors at no extra costs.  

 

usually if you want something simple it would be easy for them to get it for you.

Congrats Kristen5469 + welcome to the forum! we just shot some a wedding with a very artistic centerpiece that created quite a buzz.

 

A local artist created a hand sculpture of the couple's hands, wearing their wedding rings and posed on a mini-beach strewn with rose petals in their color.  Nobody had seen a centerpiece like it before.

I can send you pictures if you're interested (haven't processed them yet, as I just shot it 2 days ago).

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
