I would say the mugs would be more useful when they get back home. I know that I have tons of tote bags around the house, and we never seem to have enough travel mugs (for the morning commute). We ended up going with a "green" grocery bag style for the bag itself - something that is great for the beach, but also useful at home, and the inexpensive mugs. Both were around $1 each.

definitely the mugs!!! Most people already assume to bring a lightweight beach bag when they go to a resort . . but many dont think about a mug. These allow you to keep your drink cooler, holds usually twice as much as most cups resorts pour (so two drinks in one), and has a top to keep bugs and sand out. . . . definitely a nice perk!

You can buy brown paper bags at Michaels or Hobby Lobby in packs of 6 for around $3 .  .and just decorate them as your bags to hold all of your OOT items too!  Maybe have your monogram put on stickers and put on the bag. Or create a tag to hang off the bag.

I'd say the mugs, same reasons as the other ladies. The resorts usually give you these small cups, I think stadium cups will allow them to be able to walk around and keep their drink hot/cool. I'm doing stadium cups and mugs. That way they can use the stadium cups around the resort with straws and save the mugs to take home. Another thing is I don't see the men carrying the bags, I'm thinking of doing one bag per room with two of everything.

This was another idea I had as well - very easy to decorate with a few stamps or labels or cut outs, some tissue and some ribbon. I just couldn't see paying $5 or $10 for a custom tote, even as adorable as they are!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
