Hi Charlene , We have had our birth certificates stamped (apostile) but we are getting them translated in Mexico. I had an email the other day from thomas cook saying that the new law in Mexico now is that you have to have them translated when you arrive in mexico! Has anyone else had this email? We were going to do this anyway but just wondered if anyone had received the same info? If you add me on facebook I can add you to the groups that everyone talks about. (Donna smith on facebook) Hope planning is going well Donna

Hi Ladies,

I'm also getting married at Moon Palace (Cancun).  My date is Oct. 25th, 2013.  What are your thoughts on videography?  I'm not a fan of the services that they already have.  My cousin is a photographer.  I think I am going to go in that direction for photography.

I would love to hear how everybody's planning is going.  Have you already picked your ceremony and reception sites?

Best,

Nicole

Hi Ladies,

You do get to choose the sites for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception.  I got the following pictures to help choose.  They say you can select them on site, but I think it is a good idea to pick something ahead of time, especially if you plan on decorating and working with vendors.

Keep me posted with info!

Take care,

Nicole

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
