I thought I posted this last night.. but I guess it didn't go through.. Ignore the wording, I'm terrible at it so my fiance is working on it. :o)

I was thinking about printing this on 110 lb index cardstock that I bought by mistake this weekend rather than letting it go to waste.  I will add this in the envelope with our DIY Magnetic Save the Dates.  Thoughts?

Looks fantastic - I think you have done a great job integrating orange and pink into this!!  I love the whimsy of it :)

CUTE!!!  I love this! Great way to incorporate info about the AHR while keeping the STD strictly for the wedding. Great work!

Agreed.. Time has def flown by! I have 8 months and 10 days to go... And a whole lot of DIYs to start and finish.

I finally got my invites out last Saturday. :o)

For the brides that send the STDs to everyone, how did you decide to send the invites to after that?  Do you do RSVP for STD and another one for the invite and another one for the AHR?  It seems like there's a lot of RSVPs.

I was thinking of sending the STDs to everyone as well while asking everyone to send us their mailing addresses.  Then we would send the invites for those who responded to us with their addresses and assume those who don't respond are not interested to attend.  With the invites, it will have RSVP for both the wedding and AHR.  What do you think?  Does it seem too complicated?  If I do AHR RSVP at the time of wedding RSVP, would it be too far away?

I think that seems like a good solution.  We sent out STDs with no RSVP to everyone, and are sending formal invitations with multiple items on one RSVP card (our resort is not AI, and we're doing a Fri night happy hour and dinner, sat wedding/reception, sun champagne brunch so we need head counts on everything).  I don't see any reason you couldn't include AHR RSVP on the same card.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
