Yes I did get a quote from the Seawind.  They want you to pay a venue fee which is negotiable.  Then you have a choice of menus which vary in price from $40pp-$80pp.  If you would like pm me and I will send you the information that I received.  The way I see it I am still sending about the same amount of money and it gives us more flexibility as to what we will and will not use.  I will also try to post some pics in a few.

Does anyone know what the sound system actually is? Do they have speakers set up around the reception location for the beachfront casita? $540 is kinda crazy if it's actually just an iPod Dock.

great thanks. i'll msg you now. i'll definetly look into it. FYI if any of you are looking for bottles for invitations, hobby lobby has unique colors/ shape for 50% off. i just ordered mine!

I am having mine on the beachfront casita...My friend had hers at SSJ last year...we have 20 people so the gazebo is not big enough. She had 13 and the gazebo was so squished it was uncomfortable!

So exciting!!!!!  I would love to see any pictures from the St. James side you have.  I am getting married there on 11/1/13.  If you don't mind me asking how much extra was it for your flowers?  I was looking to getting fuchsia dendrobiums.  What are you doing for music for your ceremony and reception?

wow so close! how exciting. you're colors are similar to mine, seafoam/aqua, bright purple and fuschia/hot pink. i can't wait to see your pictures! i still need to pick the photographer and flowers.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
