i saw some of their work when i went to visit secrets, nothing special. majority of people used them if they came with the package, but still got their own photographer in addition to that. more money but def worth it since it's a day that you can't get back.

Hi guys! I inquired about the photography included in the package and here is their response... Photography How long does the photographer shoot for? The photographerâ€s time is complimentary for 1 hour. Please that you also receive bonus time for in room and spa shots at no additional cost based on the photo package selected. What company do you use? The name of the company is Aquasun Images and Videos.

I found their website. They seem to be pretty generic. They don't have many shoots on their site to look at. One hour really isn't that much time. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with an outside photogapher or see if my fiancees aunt would be willing to shoot some.

Aquasun Images provide generic work. It's like handing a fmaily member a professional camera and them taking your pictures. They take sunset pictures of couples during sunset hours and sell them. We did give OUR camera to one of the photographers who took some pictures for us in the sunset. We called them our "engagement" photos though it was the day after our wedding. LOL (Note: the photographer put our image card in his camera {it was compatible} so we had all the shots and he would not get into trouble taking our photos. We tipped him $20.) We used WPA Jamaica. Photos are on my profile. We loved them!! I would suggest using Clayton. We used Rounald. Clayton has a quick turnaround and does EXCELLENT work!! Maybe WPA Jamaica would work in engagement photos as a package deal?

We just got married at Secrets 2 weeks ago today.  We had the groomsmen wear white button-down shirts with the sleeves rolled up and khaki linen pants.  My husband wore the same pants and button-down but not with the sleeves rolled up and a matching khaki linen vest.  He looked so handsome and stood out from the groomsmen.  We also got married on the beach there and we all went barefoot!  That's what I wanted, but we were all concerned that at 4 pm the sand might be too hot.  We also got sandals to wear but didn't end up needing them.  The sand was not hot at all!  We got the pants and vest from Island Importer:  http://www.islandimporter.com/home.php.  The button-downs were from H&M.

My guys are wearing a light weight tan suit with white shirts and coral vests (the will only be wearing the suit coat for the ceremony). They are also going barefoot. At first I thought that would be weird however I think wearing shoes would be unfitting as it is a beach wedding! My girls and I are wearing foot jewelry! So basically barefoot! post-50827-138462560699_thumb.jpg[/ATTACHMENT]

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
