She did all of our pics and they did not charge us a fee to have her there.. I did buy some if the photos that the resorts photographer took, they also did a great job! Good luck! :)

Hey ladies I am debating on my photographer bc I am suppose to have a friend come and do them but she will be 7 months pregnant so I am worried if I buy everything for her somehow she may not be able to make it. I am looking at another who lives here in San Francisco where I am and travels to the Dominican with his fiancé. They also have a photobooth company there. I will be putting the photog up in the resort for 2 days from November 28-30 I think so I am wondering if anyone else is looking for someone to capture their day and wants to split the travel cost to have amazing pictures captured! We will avoid the $500 fee since they will be a guest (flying in from San Francisco) I am flexible with the dates but my wedding date is November 29 so within 2 days of that date. check out his photos he is amazing http://www.gkweddings.com. Let me know ladies!

AWESOMENESS DR2015! What type of room are you staying in when you go? Can you take pics of the actual room? Also of the nightclub and casino? I don't think you asked for requests (LOL). Just curious. Thank you!

Hi I read earlier where you had your travel agent secure a group rate for NOW. Did they happen to tell you how many room you needed for the group rate? We are having a small wedding and our travel agent said she thought you had to have 7 rooms but I haven't heard back yet.

We opted for the tropical view just because it a quick weekend trip! However I will take pics of the room and videos (hopefully they aren't took long to upload)!!

To get a group rate we had to secure 6 rooms or more. It took them forever to get back to us too, but don't stress! Also, there are certain promos for credits you can get too for the number of rooms you book (i.e. for every 6 rooms you book the seventh is free, meaning credited to your bill).

We had to have 10 rooms booked by a certain date in order to get our group rate, but then we also qualified for free room, and she asked if we wanted the credit for ourselves or to apply to all the rooms.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
